Always unable to resist an overgrown plant, mum got stuck into my yard this afternoon after a less successful shopping trip than yesterday.

Day 28

Today was all about weddings (twice in one week !?!). Shopped with my mum and hit success in shop number three. Cunningly, these accessories go with both of the outfits purchased!

Day 27

Well, compared to yesterday I'm in a whole different place. Still the wrong bath but at least it's plumbed in so won't have to smell/beg showers all weekend for me, mum and Dan!

Day 26

Well, I thought it would look different. It does. Progress made however despite there being a bath, it is not plumbed in as promised and the sink isn't back in. To top that, it's the wrong bath, it's too long. And I have visitors at the weekend. Grrr.

Day 25

Away from home and I've managed to get onto the internet, just not bring the cable so I can download my picture. You'll have to wait until tomorrow!

Day 24

I've managed to steer away from the food theme today. This is my bathroom, as it has looked with the side off the bath for almost 3 1/2years. Next time I see it, it will hopefully have a new bath in it......... fingers are firmly crossed!

I was going to have as yesterday's picture my hockey bag artfully posed as it was the last match of our league winning season. However, a couple of conversations prompted me to change my mind.

Today I'm going to post several pictures. I was working in the Black Country today and have decided to stay over at mum's.

The first shot is obviously just the servant's entrance. The second is some of the livestock and the third is me and my mum.

Continuing my travels around the country I made it to Farnworth and then Bolton today. Snapped these what will be called 'superelephantbananas' in the town centre after work.

Today marks the momentous occasion of Mossley 1s winning the league! Here are some of the team plus a supporter. If you look carefully, you can even see me in the window taking the picture!

Day 14

A very pleasant evening was had with amongst others Cath and Alice in the salubrious surroundings of Keith's. And I'm definitely cool enough for the soulyfunkyjazzystuff, it's great!

Day 13

Ducks are cool and highly fashionable items. Despite mine having gone on its travels, others seem to come my way. I took this from the hotel I stayed in last night, apparently they come in a full range of colours so I will be going for a second one when I go back in a couple of weeks!!!!

Day 12

I was not a happy bunny yesterday. Up at five to go to the airport then the plane was delayed for two hours. Nevertheless I made it to my destination (see picture for clue) and managed to stay awake long enough to go out to the pub in the evening.

Day 11

I am not back in my office until Thursday so here is the first picture capturing my journeys around the country. Today it was a fairly straightforward though a too early train over to Manchester via South Parkway station. Tomorrow is earlier though....a 7am flight from Manchester airport.....spot the destination tomorrow.

Day 10

Sallie and I saw what only shows up as a brown splodge bottom left on the bank of grass in the car park at training tonight. A fox running around in the full moon.

Day 9

I have not been shopping properly for about two weeks and not bought any fruit for at least a month so this marks that momentous occasion. And no I am not proud of buying that little fruit.

Day 8

Two photos today. The first to remind me of the crazy morris dancers/cheerleaders at Prescot this afternoon. Bells on the shoes were my particular favourite. Never seen so many sequins mind.

The second is Rip trying to get that extra dish at tapas - she didn't quite have enough yet.

Day 6

Today I went delivering again, up and down this street and the next. They were loooooong streets. I was chased by a girl waiting for concert tickets. I didn't have them but didn't offer her mine as a replacement - turns out she's hoping to go to the same gig I AM going to tonight!!

Yummy tea of chicken and chorizo risottto, becoming one of my signature dishes I feel.

Looking out into my yard a touch of Spring planted two years ago and forgotten about.

So nine coats in and a change of colour I almost have a new wall. I think the thirteenth coat might do it.

A bit late in the day I know but I like reading everyone else's daily blog so thought I'd give it a go too. Here is a ticket to visit the Great Wall of China I found while clearing out a bag to take to the charity shop. Nice link with my first ever blog I felt!
