Day 31

Another day in the sun. Matt and I had a picnic in the park with the paper and bumped into Lucy and Beth too. Followed by a tasty barbeque for two in my yard.

Day 30

Spent the morning in Sara's newly organised garden in the sun, watched the footie and cheered with Tony my fellow Chelsea fan and spent the rest of the afternoon/evening

in Bethan's garden. Oh, and just cheered with the rest too about Diversity winning. Fab day!

Day 29

I was seeing double last night when I went out on the lane with the Malpas twins but all I managed to take a photo of was our garlic and olives!

Day 28

My legs felt rather wooden when I ran round the park (without stopping) this evening. It reminded me of why I should be glad we don't play summer hockey! Tonight I will be watchingthe last episode of ER. Woe betide anyone who dares to interrupt!!

Have you ever arrived at a camp site and gone to put up your tent to find it has no inner? That was the case for us on Saturday.....After a few deep breaths, we got back in the car and were saved by Tesco. So, a tiny tent inside a big fly sheet. Excellent botch job but someone is very lucky about Tesco.

Camping is fun!! Played bushtucker trials kindly donated quite some time ago by Catherine Willis. I was not the unlucky victim....

I think the contents of a recycling bin say quite a lot about a person. Bizarrely it appears that I am super healthy and only drink innocent smoothies, water, diet coke and coffee. One bottle of wine? I think I will re-create this photo at a later date.

I was worried I would have difficulties with a picture again but then these flowers came along to brighten up my day!

Tonight I've had mostly this view. It's turning into a very lazy week to match my lazy weekend!

Nothing exciting happened today so here is the map on my wall. Was reminded of it watching a re-run of a West Wing episode recently which promotes the Peters world map. The countries on this one are actually proportional

to each other in size rather than the western world/northern hemisphere skew of most maps. How on earth did our tiny little country end up in control of a lot of the world?

An early Wimbledon preview this afternoon - can't wait to see it for real this summer. No Steffi or Andre will be seen then though :-(

Went to try to buy frames for my pictionary wall today but no success. So, fireplaces because Lucy Day is missing one and toilet seat on a bucket just because.

This evening my desk has been over-run by plants from a day outdoors for the ecologist. Now to figure out what they all are......

Feeling relaxed thanks to a post-work massage I decided to go shopping while I was still in town.

Really boring picture today - sorry. Went to see State of Play and then poked fun at the Apprentices over pizza. Like we could do it better......

I found this today at the top of Copperas Hill when I went out at lunch to queue in the post office. I must have seen it before in the last five years but never actually noticed it seeing as the plaque was dated 1984.... Thank you to blogging!

You get two pictures to try to figure out what this is and it's still a tough call. It was fairly tough seeing the real thing. Clue, was spotted over lunch today.

There will be four pictures for yesterday - got carried away! The first three I spotted out of my window as I got ready to go out.

The final picture (though it could be first because I'm not sure the order this post is goignto be in!) is a face in the wall paper in Heebie jeebies. Had not been in ages (for me that is a good few months) but had a lovely time with Esther, Katey and Lucy.

The plumber has just been and replaced a washer on my new bath. This is the hole the drip tunnelled through the newspaper I put out overnight. There is more paper there now.......

You may recognise this group of imposing looking people from Alice's blog. Oh, and a minor piece of information I forgot to mention. I have water dripping through my kitchen ceiling. Surely this is wrong?

Day 5

We were joined by Sara and Tanya for dinner and watching the football. Disappointing scoreline so we rounded things off with a bit of competitive spirit amongst ourselves on the Wii!

Day 4

Yesterday I decided to just quit talking about it and get on and buy one. Guess how me and Matt spent the rest of the day?

Eating out again, this time with a nice bottle of red wine too.

Spent a very lazy day on Saturday, ate out twice and spent some time sitting in the park reading the paper too.

I am rejoicing. Internet is back on line!!!! Whoop!!! Plus I have a half day to make up for the ridiculous amount of time I spent last Thurs going to and from Gatwick so I have the opportunity to catch up. Will post Day 27's picture (worth a look I think), then get up to date and be back on track later today!!! Whoop again!!!

Friday - went back to the food theme and decided to spoil myself for dinner!

Day 30

Yesterday was a long one. Here's the proof that I went to Gatwick and back - I was headed for the train though. So depressing watching everyone else lug their suitcases to the check-in desks...

Disgust - I couldn't find a picture to take to embody this!

No internet for another ten days - and guess what, the reason is the one that I sugested to them a week ago when I very first phoned them.

Why didn' they listen to me and why couldn't they decide that more quickly?
