Day 31

Another exam - boy I've had a fun week. Two weeks wait for the results of this one though. This is a snapshot of the veg in Sara Layt's garden - it's big!!!!

Thursday, 30 July 2009

Day 30

Study in the morning, mock exam, then the Foundation exam. I passed - phew. This is one of the pieces of 'art' on display at the Royal Mail conference centre.

Day 29

What a pleasant evening - exam tomorrow......

Tuesday, 28 July 2009

Day 28

Day 2 of the course and I was knackered and almost forgot to take a picture. 5mins reading before sleep to try and distract me from the 7 PRINCE2 themes, principles, processes.......

Monday, 27 July 2009

Day 27

Photo catch up - it's been a very long week stuck in Rugby, no computer access and working about 11hrs a day studying PRINCE2. This was the start to the week when they were trying to keep us sweet giving us freebies! Oo, how much excitement in a room full of adults with a cool highlighter!

Sunday, 26 July 2009

Day 26

Spot the difference!

Saturday, 25 July 2009

Day 25

This hasn't appeared on my blog before and won't be in my house for much longer so thought I should capture it for posterity.

Friday, 24 July 2009

Day 24

I spied Catherine Willis getting all glammed up and looking lovely!

Thursday, 23 July 2009

Day 23 - it's still going....

I thought this deserved a second post all of it's own. Esther Docker and I have been liasing and look what she spotted this evening!!!! Two film posters, one name, one day - Esthers the world over must be reeling slightly from the shock.

Day 23

Credit for this picture is all Tanya's. I thought I'd better post it before anyone else got the chance.......

Wednesday, 22 July 2009

Day 22

Just got into work - doing a late because I need to see the night shift manager in Crewe. So what did I do with my newly free morning apart - see friends/read/relax? No - the bloody ironing.

Tuesday, 21 July 2009

Day 21

My knees after fitness on a muddy field - poor, poor turnout.....

Monday, 20 July 2009

Day 20

This picture is rubbish. Had watched the autopsy of a giraffe on four last night and was trying to capture the amazing live animal. I only managed to get the legs.........

Sunday, 19 July 2009

Day 19

While it temporarily wasn't raining we headed to the park to see the cricket. Matt almost won a signed England bat and then we got some coaching tips. I scored more than Matt on the batting......not that we're competitive at all.

Day 18

And mischief two.

Saturday, 18 July 2009

Day 17

Posting all these a bit late due to a hectic last couple of days so apologies. This is mischief one safely completed and handed over!

Day 16

Off to the capital again to cross some picket lines. Put up for the night in a not bad part of town.....

Wednesday, 15 July 2009

Day 15

The five of us queued and spotted flowers in hair to watch Harry Potter in style at Woolton. Interval was a little disconcerting despite being expected and I've never heard so many sweet bags being rustled!!!

Tuesday, 14 July 2009

Day 14

Tonight's entertainment thanks to lovefilm - not Matt's ideal choice but maybe better than if ER had come through instead..... I enjoyed being reacquainted with the terracota warriors.

Monday, 13 July 2009

Day 13

Late in from work, good teamwork produced a delicious pea and mint risotto.

Sunday, 12 July 2009

Day 12

A year on from a sunflower hat and how shall we celebrate Docker's birthday? - I know, some shaving foam.

Saturday, 11 July 2009

Day 11

Poor quality picture again but this enormous plateful is what Matt ate at Meet, Argentinian restaurant in town. I ate more beef than I'd had in the entire last month!

Friday, 10 July 2009

Day 10

Joined by Vikki, Esther Docker and Katey for a Friday evening of frivolity.

Thursday, 9 July 2009

Day 9

And this is what I get to study ahead of a week long course

and an exam. Yes, I am a dummy.

Wednesday, 8 July 2009

Day 8

A couple of Wednesday mojitos with Lucy and then Matt had a look at the evening's endeavours! He he!

Tuesday, 7 July 2009

Day 7

He, he, I won!

Monday, 6 July 2009

Day 6

I was too quick on the hazard perception and got no points. Boo :-(.

Sunday, 5 July 2009

Day 5

We consumed tasty smoothies and watched the epic final with jangling nerves!

Saturday, 4 July 2009

Day 4

Mmmmmmm, Ben and Jerry's!!!!

Friday, 3 July 2009

Day 3

Not great visibility, sorry folks. These are just some of the boxes filled with Sallie's worldly belongings and waiting to be shipped off to the far side of the world.

Thursday, 2 July 2009

Day 2

A hot evening after an afternoon gabbing and admiring the tennis called for a stroll along Otterspool as an escape from the too warm house.

Wednesday, 1 July 2009

Day 1

It was HOT in the capital, again. I celebrated Canada Day in Trafalgar Square and got on Canadian TV (obviously not quite as good as being on BBC One the previous day) before going to watch Arcadia.
