Another exam - boy I've had a fun week. Two weeks wait for the results of this one though. This is a snapshot of the veg in Sara Layt's garden - it's big!!!!
Study in the morning, mock exam, then the Foundation exam. I passed - phew. This is one of the pieces of 'art' on display at the Royal Mail conference centre.
Day 2 of the course and I was knackered and almost forgot to take a picture. 5mins reading before sleep to try and distract me from the 7 PRINCE2 themes, principles, processes.......
Photo catch up - it's been a very long week stuck in Rugby, no computer access and working about 11hrs a day studying PRINCE2. This was the start to the week when they were trying to keep us sweet giving us freebies! Oo, how much excitement in a room full of adults with a cool highlighter!
I thought this deserved a second post all of it's own. Esther Docker and I have been liasing and look what she spotted this evening!!!! Two film posters, one name, one day - Esthers the world over must be reeling slightly from the shock.
Just got into work - doing a late because I need to see the night shift manager in Crewe. So what did I do with my newly free morning apart - see friends/read/relax? No - the bloody ironing.
This picture is rubbish. Had watched the autopsy of a giraffe on four last night and was trying to capture the amazing live animal. I only managed to get the legs.........
While it temporarily wasn't raining we headed to the park to see the cricket. Matt almost won a signed England bat and then we got some coaching tips. I scored more than Matt on the batting......not that we're competitive at all.
The five of us queued and spotted flowers in hair to watch Harry Potter in style at Woolton. Interval was a little disconcerting despite being expected and I've never heard so many sweet bags being rustled!!!
Tonight's entertainment thanks to lovefilm - not Matt's ideal choice but maybe better than if ER had come through instead..... I enjoyed being reacquainted with the terracota warriors.
Poor quality picture again but this enormous plateful is what Matt ate at Meet, Argentinian restaurant in town. I ate more beef than I'd had in the entire last month!
Not great visibility, sorry folks. These are just some of the boxes filled with Sallie's worldly belongings and waiting to be shipped off to the far side of the world.
It was HOT in the capital, again. I celebrated Canada Day in Trafalgar Square and got on Canadian TV (obviously not quite as good as being on BBC One the previous day) before going to watch Arcadia.
