Continuing my travels around the country I made it to Farnworth and then Bolton today. Snapped these what will be called 'superelephantbananas' in the town centre after work.
Slightly made up..... Having done some research though I can inform you that the elephant crest first formed part of Bolton's coat of arms in 1799 and represents a link with the old County of Coventry. Not sure that they had any local elephants in either town though.....
They are cool but surely that cant be their name?? There is no obvious element of banana in them???
